The Faceless God challenges you to play 'His' Gambit. Will you accept it?

Volume one (Part one): The prophecy of the Perished One; Humanity is on the brink of eternal damnation due to their accumulating sins that displeased The Golden God. The world has been left without ‘His’ presence, awaiting their salvation brought by the prophesied Perished One, who is destined to be slain with the Sword of Yius in order to salvage humanity from their faults.

In the midst of this prophecy is Emon: A middle-aged father who leads a double life. By day, he is teacher at Ventoria University; by night, a shadowy figure at the top of the country of Deneve’s socioeconomic hierarchy. However, as destiny has it, Emon’s life is changed forever after one fateful day.

One early morning, he is killed and brought back to life by a mysterious masked man who refers to Emon as ‘A Great Rebel’. Emon is reborn as… Emon, with no recollection of what had happened, nor any sort of memory of his wife and children. His wife has vanished, as well as his two sons, and he strangely continues on with his life, as if nothing had happened. Unaware that he has now become a ploy of The Gambit.

His seemingly unperturbed life soon disrupts once more as news regarding the abduction of innocent people reaches his ears. Investigation leads Emon to a significant dilemma where he faces the truth about his reality and the world he inhabits. The world, despite lacking the Golden God's presence, appears to be in much more turmoil than anyone could have ever imagined. Emon soon becomes the first person to realize this truth. The truth of The Gambit.
